An appendix includes several descents from Charlemagne for King William the Conqueror and his wife, Maud of Flanders. In addition, the book includes a massive 124-page bibliography - probably the most exhaustive listing of royal and noble genealogy ever published - a special study of "king's kinsfolk," and an index of over 25,000 entries.
